With Other Users

  • Session files uploaded during bookings are accessible to both parties

With Record Labels (For Signed Artists)

🏢 Label Access to Artist Sessions

If you are signed to a verified record label or production company, your label will have access to the following information about your bookings:

  • Booking dates, times, durations, and locations
  • Engineer names and studio details
  • Session costs and payment breakdowns
  • Uploaded session files and deliverables
  • Booking statuses and completion confirmations

Purpose: This access is provided to labels for tax documentation, insurance compliance, and duty-of-care obligations. Labels are contractually obligated to use this information responsibly and in accordance with privacy laws.

Artists are notified during label sign-up that session information will be shared with their label for business purposes.

With Service Providers

  • Stripe: For payment processing (they have their own privacy policy)
  • Email Services: For sending transactional emails
  • Cloud Storage: For hosting uploaded files securely

Legal Requirements

  • When required by law or legal process
  • To protect rights, property, or safety of In The Mix or users
  • In connection with fraud prevention or security investigations

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:

  • Active Accounts: Data retained as long as account is active

In The Mix is NOT intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover a user is under 18, we will delete their account immediately.
